Designed by a Stirling-Prize winning architecture practice, Madison Heights comprises of three five-bedroom houses, 15 one and two-bedroom apartments and extensive ground floor commercial space.

Each apartment has been designed to the highest specification, including integrated Zanussi appliances in the kitchens, porcelain tiles in the bathrooms and engineered oak flooring in the living areas.

The Tudor Door Company was appointed to supply all the internal doors required for the scheme as well as for three five-bedroom homes. All doors had to be manufactured in a number of different sizes and designs.

Tudor also supplied high security external main entrance door for the houses. Sound reduction was a priority, so these were all designed to block noise and were certified by ‘Secured by Design’ the flagship initiative launched by the UK’s police to ‘design out crime’ though high-quality security products and initiatives.

One of the biggest challenges of this project was the short lead time as all the doors had to be manufactured and installed within a tight timeframe to meet the construction programme.

Mr Manek, SW Development ltd said: “Tudor performed very professionally, demonstrating great communication and excellent off-site project management skills. The team gave us the assurance that they would complete the work within our tight timeframe and they did exactly that.”
