Client: John Vetch House Ltd.
Located in Clapham, London, John Vetch House was constructed in the 1950s. The building was demolished and replaced with a new four-storey residential scheme comprised of, 13 flats and 2 new homes.
This high-end development was designed to be in keeping with the character of the surrounding area, including an historic Georgian villa development, and features contemporary elements.
The Tudor Door Company was selected to provide all the internal doors for the new development as well as the external entrance doors.
Tudor’s experienced designer worked in partnership with the developer’s designer to produce the internal doors which were all bespoke, including the frames and architraves.
Custom high-security steel external doors were also designed and manufactured by our team. Each door was made to meet building and security requirements relating to fire and acoustics and were certified by ‘Secured by Design’ the flagship initiative launched by the UK’s police to ‘design out crime’ though high-quality security products and initiatives.
